Time to Get Healthy!

As you may have guessed, after all of my health issues (thanks to genetics!), my diet changed dramatically in October 2017 as I determined to become healthier and reverse some serious medical issues. So, under strict supervision by my primary care physician and cardiologist, I began the Ketogenic way of eating (no-carb/high-fat).

Almost immediately I noticed dramatic weight loss. In addition, my Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease has been reversed, the Stage F3 Liver Fibrosis is being reversed, my Type 2 Diabetes has been reversed (my A1c has gone from 6.7 to 5.1), and all of the inflammation is gone!

Recent labs indicate my triglycerides and all of my cholesterol readings have improved dramatically!

I HIGHLY recommend the following resources if you are interested in pursuing a healthy weight-loss program. Keep in mind, however, that my doctors carefully monitor my vitals (labs, cardiac function, etc.) while I am on this journey to better health.
